Performing Arts Classes

Our Performing Arts Classes are designed to support and enrich the annual performance. Throughout the academic year, these groups explore a wide range of creative expressions with their leaders and specialist instructors. As the year progresses, they work closely alongside the director to shape and contribute to the final show, combining their unique talents into a cohesive, collaborative production.

Drama & Performance Class – At EMAS, we recognise that not every child feels ready to step onto the stage. This dedicated class is for students in our main programme who are passionate about performing and want to take part in shows. It offers a supportive environment for developing stage confidence, performance skills, and the joy of expressing oneself in front of an audience, while ensuring participation remains a choice, not an expectation.

Arts & Crafts for Performance – In this creative class, children—whether or not they are part of the main programme—design, draw, and build pieces that will become part of the final performance set. They experiment with different artistic methods under the guidance of skilled leaders, learning how visual creativity can transform and support a live production.

Music for Performance – A class designed to spark creativity and imagination through sound. Students explore musical ideas with their specialist leader, experimenting with rhythm, melody, and sound design. They then collaborate with the director to decide how their work will enhance and elevate the final show.
